We've wanted to host an event in the dark, atmospheric sweatbox that is Hope Works Little Mesters ever since we started back in 2015, and that time is finally upon us! We've enlisted the help of one of the most in demand, upcoming DJs of 2017 for his Sheffield debut - Studio Barnhus' Baba Stiltz!

John Bramwell

John Bramwell hits the road once again in support of his brand new solo album 'Leave Alone the Empty Spaces', to be released in autumn 2017. The former I Am Kloot vocalist, songwriter and guitarist fronts a six piece live band for these shows, uniquely including piano and cello.

The Guardian recently said that one of Johns shows was “Quite beautiful, utterly compelling and frequently hilarious”.

The New Yorker called him “The UKs finest export.”

Louder Than War added that Johns gigs were “Some of the most thrilling, on edge live music you’re ever likely to witness”.

I Am Kloot were Mercury nominees in 2011 with their masterpiece, the exquisite 'Sky at Night', produced by Guy Garvey and Craig Potter from Elbow. The follow up, 'Let It All In', was equally as successful reaching the Top 10 albums in 2012.

'Leave Alone the Empty Spaces' is John’s first collection of songs since then. A singer and songwriter of his abilities can’t fail to deliver another masterpiece.

This show will feature much of that new album, as well as the finest of his back catalogue.

Tickets for John Bramwell (subject to booking fees) at Sheffield City Hall are available online at through the ticket hotline on 0114 2 789 789 and in person at the Sheffield City Hall Box Office.
