From the people behind Tramlines comes the first ever Outlines Festival. A new, one-day multi-venue festival taking place across Sheffield City Centre on Saturday 27th February.
Expect a genre-spanning mix of established names and breaking talent, taking to the stage at venues including Skate Central, The Harley, Queens Social Club, Plug and o2 Academy.
We have loved hosting Queens Social Club at Tramlines for the last couple of years, so jumped at the opportunity to get involved in the inaugural Outlines Festival this February and put together the official afterparty.
Joining us we have DJ sets from the ever-wonderful Andrew Ashong, and Portuguese producer Batida.
Debuting on Theo Parrish's Sound Signature label with the truly incredible 'Flowers', Ashong has quickly garnered a global following with his special brand of danceable and smoky jazz & soul.
He also happens to be an amazing vinyl DJ, playing a smile-inducing mix of soul, funk, disco, bossa nova, afrobeat and more.
Drawing from a wide range of Afro-influenced styles, Angolan/Portuguese producer Batida creates a colourful cocktail of afro-electronic music. Signed to UK label, Soundway, Batida reinterprets Angola’s vibrant musical past by adding his own pulsating twist to skilfully blend the old with the new. Coming along for the ride with Batida will be his dancer, who will be sure to ignite the stage with his mesmeric movements. We’ve been massive fans of Batida for a while and you will have heard much of his music in our DJ sets, so we’re incredibly excited to bring him to Sheffield for the first time.
Please note, you can only attend this party by purchasing a ticket to Outlines Festival, and then the £3 add-on
