I have decied to do the Sheffield Nights newsletter every month from now on with updates from last month and what is going to happern in the next month.
I am sure that everyone know about the tragic events this week, where the superclub Gatecrasher One burnt down and collapsed in a fire that is unknown as of yet how it started. The good thing is no one was hurt in the fire and the employees that were in there at the time got out safley. Gatecrasher have said that it is not the end of the club and they are finding a place to host the summer nights they have planned and they are going to build the old club again for the future.
Simon Raine, Managing Director of Gatecrasher, said: ?True to our own motto of ?Never Stand Still? we will be moving forward to scope out how we put on our planned club nights in Sheffield during the summer. We will be looking to continue all CRASHER and Hed Kandi nights planned in Sheffield during Summer 2007 at a venue to be confirmed.
?We will also be looking at how we rebuild the Gatecrasher One club, one of the cornerstones of the UK nightclub scene and our spiritual home, as quickly as possible. We want everyone to remember all those memorable nights at Gatecrasher One from down the years, safe in the knowledge that it will be back?bigger, brighter, louder and more brash ? it will always be with you.?
Moving on from that, there are now forums open at Sheffield Nights for you to discuss what you want and find out what you want to know. You can find them at http://www.sheffieldnights.com/forums/

Emergency crews were called to the Gatecrasher One nightclub in Eyre Street, Sheffield, just after 1700 BST on Monday.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said five crews - about 25 firefighters - were at the scene tackling the blaze.
Officers moved members of the public away from the scene as bricks and other debris fell from the building.
A number of roads around the area, including Matilda Street and Arundel Street, were cordoned off by police.
Smoke from the venue, which is one of Sheffield's biggest nightclubs, could be seen for miles across the city.
Eyewitnesses said plumes of smoke gradually spread across the city centre and turned from a dark grey colour to thick white to yellow cloud.
Sheffield city centre resident Kirsten Law said: "I was on the phone when I first noticed it and thought the whole development was on fire.
"I've had to go around closing all the windows because the smell of the smoke's so strong and have been watching the charred bits fly past the window, and I'm on the other side of town from Gatecrasher."

We can only hope it will come back asap, RIP Crasher.
